Blotout: The Secret to Fixing Your Meta Attribution

Roughly 30% of your client-side conversions never make it back to Meta and other ad platforms. Everyone's got ad blockers. Safari kills cookies. Scripts get blocked too. Every day it gets harder to fire a third-party tracking pixel, and most brands have no idea how much attribution they're losing.

The fix Robbie walked us through

  • Shift from third-party cookies to first-party pixels served from your own domain. Nobody blocks a first-party cookie, because your site needs it to function.
  • Backfill the gaps with server-side tracking (CAPI). Events going server to server can't be blocked.
  • Max out the metadata on every payload, including conversion value, estimated LTV, and micro conversions.

That unlocks smart bidding and target ROAS in Meta and Google. The tool Robbie uses to handle all of this is Blotout.
